Silver Compass for the Earth Changes

Earth is a Great Living System

As with humankind and all life form, the earth itself is a great living system, requiring a certain level of constancy for its existence.

The average global temperature provides the earth with a mild environment where water exists as liquid. Carbon dioxide stores up some of the infrared rays radiated from earth’s surface and redirects it to the earth’s surface, creating the greenhouse effect, and is exchanged between the atmosphere and the oceans, the latter storing large quantities of it.

The level of salt concentration in the earth’s oceans has remained fairly stable for hundreds of millions of years in spite of its history of extreme abnormal weather conditions, as has the level of the waters of the oceans.

The concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere has remained nearly invariant since billions of years ago.

The earth gives life to us, sustains us, but there are growing concerns as to how well it will continue to do so.

Natural Disasters

The increasingly abnormal weather that has been noted by scientists over the past number of years, picked up and commented on by media and citizens worldwide, accelerated its pace in 2012. Heavy rain continued in Kyushu, Japan. In the U.S., disasters caused by extraordinary weather occurred one after another in June, 2012, which included extreme heat, large-scale wildfire, and destructive storms, all of which produced casualties. (On July 9 it was reported that the average temperature in the mainland U.S. during the past year had been at record highs since such recordings began in 1895.)

To focus on temperature increases, however, does not nearly represent the recent climate abnormality.

  • The greater part of Alaska, Mongolia, and Australia experienced abnormally low temperatures in 2012, whereas abnormally high temperatures were recorded in the south of Greenland, north of Russia, and two thirds of eastern North America of the same year.
  • Under the influence of global warming, vast amounts of ice in the polar region have melted.  An investigation conducted in 2007 revealed that the extent of sea ice coverage across the seas had decreased by over 40% during the past 30 years.  Continuing to reduce thereafter, in the summer of 2012 the ice coverage became the smallest on record. Additionally, the thick covering of ice in Greenland has been observed to be melting on all parts of the island.
  • At the end of October 2012, the greater part of the eastern United States was staggered by Hurricane Sandy.  Media referred to it as Tornado Sandy because the event was similar to the behavior of a tornado.  The total financial damage caused by Sandy was estimated to exceed $200 billion.  Only one month afterwards, the west coast, specifically Northern California, was hit by a series of severe storms in less than a week, leaving at least eight rivers at flood-watch stage.
  • Thus far, 2013 has not been spared this apparent escalation.  In January, Australia was devastated by severe mountain fires, which were caused by a record heat wave.

A report by the Intergovernmental Panel on the Climate Change was published on November 1, 2012.  Scientists contributing to it foresee a substantial increase of abnormal weather in the future.  These scientists predict that erratic weather such as heat waves and floods will be all the more intensified in the days ahead, and that the potentiality for weather disasters to exert a grave impact will be further increased by the expansion of cities and by the continuing progression of global population growth.

Whether one views these as normal periodic fluctuation or as indicators of significant earth changes, it would seem apparent in either case that the earth is currently evidencing significant imbalances.

Acts of Folly by Humankind

In addition to disasters that are occurring naturally to the Earth, humankind continues to assault her.

The burning of fossil fuel since the Industrial Revolution has caused a sharp increase in carbon dioxide and some point to this as the reason for what appears to be accelerating global warming. Repeated nuclear testing has contaminated the atmosphere and the earth itself. Unregulated, unrestricted, resource exploitation is fast destroying forests and heavily impacting the entirety of the earth. These are follies that inhibit earth’s homeostasis.

Adding to all this is the contamination of the atmosphere, soil, and oceans by nuclear accidents at Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, and Fukushima. According to an announcement by the government of Japan, the atomic reactors No. 1, 2, and 3 of the Fukushima nuclear plant finally reached cold shutdown on Dec. 16, 2011. But the shutdowns do not resolve the radioactive contamination issues. Even if there is no future radioactive leakage, that which has already been released will continue its radioactivity semi-permanently. While some decontamination at the site could be considered successful, this is in definition only since the radioactive discharge is simply moved. In other words, the radioactive material does not disappear. Rather, it becomes concentrated someplace else. There is no real solution here unless we render radioactive substance harmless, totally preventing it from emitting radioactive particles and rays.

All One Consciousness

Beings from higher consciousness represented by one called Lama Sing recently made the following statement on earth changes. It was given through Mr. Al Miner who has long been serving as trance channel for Lama Sing for four decades.

No one is separate from another, even though distance may make this seem valid. The relationship of one mind to another, one heart to another, is eternal and the denial of this creates a disruption. It is this broad disruption in the cumulative sense of many, many earth years of occurrence that has had a powerful effect upon the earth itself.

The belief that the Earth and its people are separate is an illusion. The earth is a life-form just as any one of you would be considered a life-form. A plant in the earth, a bird in the heavens, a fish in the sea—you and the earth are all one. To believe that you are separate is not to see yourself or your earth.

You can see the sphere of your earth from great distance and behold its beauty and its wondrous uniqueness and, yet, do you, within its embrace, honor this and honor one another? Each act of aggression, hatred, or separateness is felt by the earth. The collective assembly of all these energies is greatly contributing to the unrest of the earth.

There is a magnetic shift in motion as we speak. There is the movement of the climatic regions more and more, as you will see in the days ahead. And many of the things that have been taken by so many as just there may not be there in the days ahead.

You are all one—your beautiful planet is part of you and that you are a part of it.

Time to Unite Our Consciousness with the Earth’s Consciousness

Now is the time for us to honor the earth’s consciousness as being one with our own.

According to Carl Jung, the highly regarded Swiss psychologist, the subconscious includes “the individual unconscious composed of personal experiences in our entire life” and “the collective unconscious deeply extending from it”. In other words, we are all connected, all one, at the subconscious level. Based on this premise, innumerable problems, personal and global, can be aided if not healed, by tending to our subconscious. This is where the practice called “Ho’oponopono” comes in.

I was first introduced to Ho’oponopono through the book Two Truths by Mr. Yukio Funai. At the time I read the book, I was not fully cognizant of its importance and potentially unlimited possibilities. In November 2011, when a friend brought it to my attention again, I knew I should pursue it seriously. I purchased another book, SITH Ho’oponopono: The Way of the Divine Giving Up Suffering for Peace of Mind. This book was written by Mr. Masafumi Sakuraba based on his interview with Ph.D. Ihaleakala Hew Len who has long devoted himself to the spread of SITH (Self I-dentity Through Ho’oponopono).

“Ho‘oponopono” to Restore Harmony

In brief, “Ho’oponopono” is the time-honored problem-solving method that is quickly spreading in the world. Having originated in Hawaii, the word “Ho’oponopono” means, among other definitions, to reestablish harmony.

When reading Mr. Sakuraba’s book, I suddenly had a flash of inspiration: Accepting that our consciousness is deeply connected with that of the earth and that we are essentially one, then, applying Ho’oponopono to ourselves would have a result for the entirety of the planet.

Ho’oponopono is a simple four-step process, very easily applied. It is simply the chanting of four phrases to the object of our intent as often as possible, either aloud or silently: Thank you, I’m sorry, Please forgive me, I love you. This process lessens and even deletes subconscious recordings that would otherwise manifest as problems, and individuals worldwide have reported great success.

To apply this to Mother Earth: We express our gratitude to her for her great services, we accept that (based on our unified consciousness) we are responsible for all things taking place around the world and we make our apologies for our acts of folly asking her to forgive us, we tell her that we really love her. This is, in essence, similar to prayer.

Ho’oponopono could well be the solution we so desperately need to bring about timely and lasting restoration to the earth. If many people participate with the common intent to restore balance to Mother Earth, surely she will perceive and receive our message. Imbalance will be replaced with harmony and perhaps the prophesied earth changes that most of us have heard of to greater or lesser degree will be lessened if not completely forestalled.

Ho’oponopono can be practiced either mentally or aloud. In my case, I do it as follows:

Thank you, Great Mother Earth.  I’m sorry.  Please forgive me.  I love you.

I urge everyone to join with those of us who have already come together in this common intent. It could be the shortest way to purify and revitalize Fukushima and potentially serve to circumvent future disasters.
